DAM Coolers Launches New Crowdfunding Campaign on Indiegogo

They’re back at it and ready to start crowdfunding again!

DAM Coolers, one of our previous clients, understood the power of having your eCommerce platform. Aside from establishing their online credibility, the upstart outdoor company has also gained new followers excited about their products.  

After several meetings, Panorama Press and DAM Coolers planned a solid marketing plan that utilizes online and offline strategies. The most crucial part of this was to create a website with a sleek and dynamic design. Thus, DAMcoolers.com was born.

After multiple brainstorming sessions between the creator of DAM Coolers (Femi) and our Creative team, along with several intensive market studies conducted by our Data & Research teams, we were able to discover and create the perfect design and layout that best suited the DAM Coolers brand. Everything was built from the ground up, including the logos, the color schemes, and all other branding assets.

Panorama Press also brought in professional videographer Ryan Lane and the rest of the DreamNow team to create professional video and photo assets to further demonstrate and showcase what DAM Coolers is all about. Through multiple days of shooting in various locations around the city, the Ryan and the DreamNow team were able to create some truly amazing work and bring the DAM Coolers brand to life.

While some of their latest cooler models are still in their prototype phase, DAM Coolers was able to gain enough traction from their first Kickstarter campaign back in 2019, where they first introduced this remarkable concept. DAM Coolers has an extremely impressive line of high performance coolers that uses Vacuum Insulated Technology (VIT) to keep your refreshments ice-cold for up to six days. DAM Coolers’ use of VIT allows the unit to be lighter in overall weight, have a larger storage capacity, and to have almost five times the insulation compared to what is available on the market today.

DAM Coolers’ name was inspired by several things. One of which were the barrier structures that restrict the flow of water in rivers, a.k.a. dams. A fitting name considering that dams are the tightest human-made structures that can withstand the forces of nature. It’s also no wonder that they have chosen nature’s own professional dam builder, the beaver, as their mascot.

At Panorama Press, we wanted to highlight all of their coolers’ innovative features and how it can benefit the buyer on several occasions, not just during picnics, camping, and other outdoor activities. As such, we also worked with DAM Coolers to launch several local brand awareness events where the company is able to be introduced to several large companies like the Surfrider Foundation, Hannah4Change, Bishop Boards, Fusion Design Group, High Country Outfitters, and Atlanta Pro Bikes.

In doing so, we have attracted a lot of interest in the product from the local community and other interested buyers abroad. We also introduced DAM Coolers to some of our friends at local breweries, like Gate City Brewing Company, Lean Draft House, Terrapin Beer Company, and Sweetwater Brewery, to help gain promotional opportunities and build brand awareness.

Finally, our firm also helped the budding outdoor company launch its first crowdfunding campaign via Kickstarter. They were able to raise a large amount of money, but unfortunately were unable to reach their target goal. That didn’t stop them though! With products already ordered, they’ve started offering pre-orders on their website and are now launching their new crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo! Today, one of their most sought products, the versatile D25- SOLO Super and clever 2-in-1 Cooler BackPack, can now be pre-ordered on their website. 

To further amplify the company’s online presence, our Content team also worked with Femi to initiate several social media campaigns to raise awareness of their new products. The response from would-be buyers and interested parties was overwhelming.

DAM Coolers expects to produce and ship their first batch of the DAM25 units in August 2020. In the next few months, the company plans to release its other projects, such as the hard cooler and the cooler bag models.
